Remember Timothy

2 Timothy 4:1-5 New International Version (NIV)
4 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: 2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

As we enter into another election. I look forward with anticipation to the coming of Jesus in His time, but also an increase of His wrath against this country. America has turned more to man than to God, they want only what is good in there eyes, instead of looking to our Creator. This great land was founded on the principles of God fearing, God loving, and God living people.

There is not one person in the world that is not a sinner. However, those of us who have a right relationship with God, and receive His forgiveness, and walk in His ways is described as righteous (Gen.6: 9) and blameless (Job 1:1); (Ps 18:20-24). This is not because we are free from sin, but because the true direction of our lives is to serve and please God in the way He requires.

Our constitution was created by our Founding Fathers by biblical principles like the Ten Commandments. We as a nation have turned away from God and are now worshiping Washington. We expect Washington to help us with everything. Turning away from God, we have made Washington our Creator. Washington cannot help us. Man cannot help us. Only God!

We must decide soon whom we wish to be governed by, God or a sword. All men will eventfully meet Jesus, don’t believe Satan and think there is always time.

2 Chronicles 7:14New International Version (NIV)
14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Until next time. Praise God!
