As I listen to the sounds of war and discontent around me, I often wonder if there will ever be peace in the world.
The answer I fear will probably be no!
Not because we do not want peace, but because so many people in this world only want to receive and do not want to give.
Remember the verse in the song, The Rose:
It’s the one who won’t be taken, who cannot seem to give,
It’s the one afraid of dying that never learns to live.
Instead of focusing on what is wrong with this world, imagine how we can capture other people’s attention if we lived celebrating what God has done for us and how our life flows with the joy of, Him within us.
John 15:16-17 states:
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit-fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command, love each other.
God has granted us the power to be content, let us do that and be happy.
Until next time, Praise God!
